Lewis Hamilton extends his support to ‘Avengers’ Lebron James and Team USA Basketball for bagging gold in Paris Olympics

Lewis Hamilton congratulated the Men’s USA Basketball team after their triumph at the 2024 Paris Olympics. LeBron James and his ‘Avengers’ returned home as the Olympic champions.

The US men’s Basketball team had unparalleled star power at the Olympic games, with James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and the rest vying for gold. After defeating Serbia in a thrilling semi-final, the team went on to win the final against host nation France.

After clinching the gold medal, Los Angeles Lakers ace LeBron James nicknamed the team after the popular superhero team ‘Avengers’. The star NBA player posted snaps from the final and the medal ceremony, with the caption.

Seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton extended his support to the ‘Avengers’ team, by sharing the post on his Instagram stories. With a gold medal icon as the caption (), Hamilton congratulated the US men’s Basketball team.

The Mercedes F1 driver was also spotted in the 2024 Paris Olympics, during the summer break. Hamilton was in attendance for the bronze medal matchup in fencing, between USA and France. The 39-year-old watched the game with Hollywood actress Nina Dobrev, rapper Snoop Dogg, and three-time snowboarding gold medalist Shaun White.
