Video captures Tom Brady’s lack of rock-climbing skills: I wasn’t made for this

Tom Brady made light work of his NFL career and became arguably the greatest quarterback there has ever been, but that does not make you automatically good at every single sport.

As it turns out, Brady does not have as much skill when it comes to rock-climbing, as he has confessed himself

The seven-time Super Bowl winner was a good enough sport to show his poor climbing attempts in an Instagram Story on Monday. He was taking part amid a family getaway.

“I wasn’t made for this,” Brady, 46, captioned the video. He doubled down on that notion in a separate slide that showed him venturing through a ropes course.

“… Or this,” Brady added.

Brady enjoys his downtime

Whilst Brady may now be enjoying time away from NFL and all the stresses that it brings, he still gets asked about the current players and how they compare to him.

During a recent appearance on ‘The Pivot Podcast’, Brady claimed that he used to be jubilant while playing, much like Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is, but that it eventually faded away.

While that may be how Brady remembers his career, former teammate Christian Fauria remembers things differently.

While speaking on ‘WEEI Boston Sports Original’, Fauria claimed that Brady was always very competitive. In fact, he said Brady was lying when claiming he wished he could go back and do things differently, and be like Mahomes is all the time.

“I think Brady is a liar,” said Fauria while laughing. “When I heard it, I was like, ‘Who’s he kidding? He can’t change. He can’t downshift. This is not who he is. He’s not wired like Mahomes.
