Golf glamor girl Paige Spiranac believes the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump could turn out to be a blessing in disguise for America.
Trump narrowly escaped death earlier this month after a 20-year-old gunman fired multiple shots at him during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Luckily, the former President turned his head just at the right moment, meaning he only ended up with a bloody ear instead of a bullet to the head.
The failed assassination attempt on Trump sent shockwaves around the world, with the Secret Service also facing questions over the colossal security failureswhich led to it.
Yet according to Spiranac, the incident could actually bring America closer together and help put an end to similar acts of violence in the future.
The golf inluencer told Fox News about the shooting: ‘It was incredibly sad and there should never be a point where violence takes over.
‘I am hopeful that this will spark a conversation [in which] you can have differences, but you can talk to one another in a way that is efficient, and we can use our words, and we can hear one another out, and we can be respectful of one another.
‘I think it’s gone to a place where it’s been so hostile that we forget that we all have different upbringings and come from different backgrounds, and there are different experiences in our lives that have shaped us, and we can learn so much from [one] another that it just takes time, patience and respect.
