Tyson Fury Makes Emphatic Knockout Prediction For Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul: “Out Cold”

The 58-year-old will lace up the gloves to face YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul on November 15 after the bout was initially postponed due to an ulcer flare-up on Tyson’s part.

Paul has 10 wins and seven stoppages in the sport, largely against former MMA fighters, with one loss coming via split decision against green pro boxer Tommy Fury.

In a prediction clip shared by MMA READ, Tommy’s brother, former heavyweight champion and ‘Iron’ Mike namesake, Tyson Fury, said he was backing the old boxer to get a knockout against Paul

“Listen, if Mike Tyson hits anybody, I don’t care if he’s 90, he’s gonna knock them out cold, in’t he? Obviously I have to back Mike Tyson. I’m named after the legend and I’ll back him. As he always backs me I’m backing Mike for the knockout. Come on, Mike!”

They say power is the last thing to go, but that usually applies to fighters in the final throes of their career, not two decades after it ended.

The fight has received considerable criticism from fans, fighters and pundits but has substantial backing in the form of a deal with streaming giant Netflix, its first entry into the sport of boxing.

The cross-generational clash takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Texas and will feature a rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano on the undercard.

Despite the plans, some in the sport still believe the fight won’t happen, promoter Eddie Hearn and former world champion Shawn Porter to name a couple.
