Ja Morant will completely shatter the single-season franchise record for points per game at 26.4 points per game for the Grizzlies. The previous holder was Shareef Abdur-Rahim at 23.0 points per game.

This season, Ja Morant is averaging 26.4 points a game, 8.1 assists a game, and 5.9 rebounds a game. He’s doing it on 47/31/75 shooting. Night after night, Morant has helped carry the Memphis Grizzlies to the second seed for a second year in a row.

As a regular season player, Ja Morant has definitely already proven himself. What matters next for Morant is an ability to elevate the Memphis Grizzlies in the playoffs.
