Anthony Joshua plots to call out rival Tyson Fury if he knocks out Jermaine Franklin

Anthony Joshua might just have the name of Tyson Fury on his lips should he impress against Jermaine Franklin – but not if the fight turns out to be close.

Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn has outlined three possibilities in the heavyweight’s future ahead of his London contest on Saturday evening, depending on what happens in the ring.

Should he win in style then a huge title fight could be on the cards – but he could fancy another tune-up or even retire should things go badly at The O2.

“I think the nature of the victory will be important. If he looks sensational, I think he’s going to be calling out Tyson Fury and he’s going to be calling out Deontay Wilder,” Hearn told the Daily Mail.

“If he struggles to a win, he might want one more under his new coach Derrick James first.

You’re always under pressure from the public to make the big fights but I would like to see him gel with that new trainer.”
