Not willing to judge the famous actor

father, known as ‘King Richard’, noted that he won’t judge the famous actor for his actions

Smith took to the stage during the event and slapped Rock after the latter made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith‘s shaved head.

I think that whatever he [Will] wants to do, that’s what he should do,” Richard told The US Sun.

“People are going to think what they want to think.

“If he apologized [that’s good], however he wants to deal with the situation. I wouldn’t judge anyone.”

“They should let him keep his Oscar, too. When a person [has] worked for [it] so much, then leave it alone.

“I really appreciate him doing so very much so I could never criticize him.”

Will Smith won Best Actor for his portrayal of ‘King Richard’

Smith won the Best Actor Oscar award after portraying the 80-year-old in the movie ‘King Richard’.

Williams‘ father was asked if the incident overshadowed the movie’s success.

“No, he’s done a great deal for myself and my family,” Richard added.

“I think he did extremely well, it was very wonderful.”

Richard also stressed that he wants to meet Smith one day in order to express his gratitude to the famous actor.
